TECHNIQUE DEVELOPMENT
with many other types of measures is longstanding a cornerstone of the re-search that we do.
We employ cutting-edge techniques, such as Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), cognitive and behavioral assessments, genomics, and biomechanics in clinical research and patient care. We also develop new methods for both acquiring and analyzing data – in particular, by developing quantitative analysis methods for MRI scans, including Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI).
Our laboratory has long been a leader in the development and validation of techniques for the quantification of imaging abnormalities in individual patients. These approaches have enabled clinical translation and opened the door to an appreciation of interindividual differences in the distribution and location of disease.
